Status Update
Hello everyone,It's been forever and a day since I've posted anything in this news area. This is just to let everyone know that Spencer and I are still around. We're still keeping up on the site and checking for updates.
Bent-fiction has been around for about 8 months now and we're more popular than ever. We're getting more than 800 unique visitors a month, which is way more than I ever expected when I started this site.
Bent-fic was created to provide a community for original slash readers and writers. If you have any ideas, let us know. We want this site to be useful and enjoyable for everyone.
Expect to see some new changes over the next few months. A forum/discussion board is in the works. And the layout may be making a change for the better. Stick around, tell us what you think, and invite your friends.

Plagiarism
Hey, y'all. There's been a recent plagiarism scandal in one of my fandoms. So I thought I'd say a little something on the subject. Plagiarism is mean, don't do it.
And as of now, I'm taking on the policy of csi-forensics.com, a fanfiction archive. If plagiarism is brought to my attention and proven to my satisfaction, the stories will be removed, the author account deleted. And it will be publicly announced on the site.
I really don't see this being a problem anytime soon, especially with the creative, original authors we have on the site now. I just want to make sure there's some kind of rule in place in case somehting should ever arise. I'll find a place to post the rule somewhere on the site, so future members know. Alrighty then, that's all for today.

ADMIN, ADMIN
Hey, I probably should have announced this a few days ago, but...yeah. So, everyone we have a new admin, cauchemar. He'll be helping with validating submissions so you're not waiting around for me to validate. Two people should make things go faster, especially when we start getting bigger. --juneprota on March 26 2006 - 10:12AM 5 Comments
Genres, Warnings...
If there are anymore genres or warnings that you can think of to add to the site, you can post a comment here and I'll add it.--juneprota on March 16 2006 - 08:57AM 4 Comments
Woo, Hoo
I finally got this up and working, thanks to a tremendous amount of help from Steve at the eFiction boards. There will definitely be some changes to the site within the next month or so, but the goal is to keep the fiction flowing, people. So, keep posting, keep reading, and keep reviewing! --juneprota on March 12 2006 - 07:12PM 0 Comments
